Nudge nudge.. wakie wakie :-)
Great movie unless your asleep ;-)
I found the movie beautiful. There is comparison to the last 10 minutes of 2001 A Space Odyssey. Transcendence of time, the unity of love and death delivered in a memorable visual style are all aspects that appealed to me. Abstract subjects like death, rebirth, and love can appear trite to some, and inspiring to others. Obviously this movie did not deliver for everyone at the box office, but for those who did receive it well, it delivered in a deep and lasting way. Either way you perceive it there is an ocean of drivel out there, and this film deserves high praise for attempting wide communication that was only received on a narrow band. I think there are many people that missed this film as it flew past the radar, and they should take the time to see it. Very worthwhile. B. - onlineBòóM , posted 03/21/07

Visually Stunning
Another visually stunning movie from Darren Aronofsky. It's a bit different from his previous works - much more abstract and thus less accessible (which is probably why it's bombed at the box office)... Nevertheless, it's a spiritually profound movie which will provoke discussions about life, death and all things metaphysical. - onlinet¤mmΨ , posted 12/26/06

What We Need Now
This poetic gem of a film speaks directly to the personal and global crises that confront us at this time. If you are looking for beauty, truth, love and awe, you'll find it all here in this passionate meditation that warms both body and soul. Do yourself a big favor and go see this instead of "Apocalypto!" - Eshu , posted 12/11/06

Take your partner to this one
Never have a seen such a beautiful, well thought out movie that appels to both sexes as this one. This movie takes a non-linear story telling approach going back and forth between 1500ad, 2000ad, and 2500ad to bring this story to life. Normally my husband would have been bored and confused quickly but he wasn't. The jumps through time are seemless as the connecttions between the timelines are stated and obvious. This movie is not boring nor is it so slow that you lose interest. This movie wasn't made with the intention of focusing on the begining and ending of the relationship between the two main characters. It was made to focus on the journey. For my husband that is what made it so interesting for him and me. We knew from the begining where the characters started and ended thier relationships. It was the motivations behind thier choices to get from the begining to the end that made it worth while. Not only that but there was no lesson to this movie. It wasn't preachy or dogmatic in any way. That more than anything else is what made it the biggest success to my husband and myself. It was just about love and that's why I recommend this movie for any two people who are also in love. I'd be surprised if you didn't like it. - Meridian , posted 12/08/06
